A Danish interpretation of the Dutch Gouda results in this flavourful hard crumbly cheese from the Hawke's Bay. With savoury and sweet tones, the cheese exhibits some similarities to both cheddar and Gouda. Aged for minimum 12 months and made from the milk from the herd of short horned cows milked on site at their Clive creamery.
Ideal for pairing with a fruity paste. Stone fruit or berry jellies also compliment nicely.

An excellent match with an apple cider or match with a light white wine; Chardonnay, Dry Riesling, Albarino, or lighter red wine e.g. Pinot Noir
